At the Winslow Tennis Academy we are fired up for Summer and our Kids Age Group Camps and High Performance Camps.  We are conveniently located in El Cerrito.  We keep kids moving, learning and having fun.

AGE GROUP CAMPS:

Each week is devoted to a particular age group and skill/experience range so that kids are in camp with their peers; we do the same with our weekly classes. Our camps are smaller in scale to maintain an outstanding teacher-student ratio and have double the development experience and the fun.  Our coaches are experienced as instructors, have extensive training, love tennis, and are great with kids. 

• Focused instruction on mechanics, technique, footwork and shot-making;
• Lively games, drills, and individual and team contests;
• Singles and Doubles point play; develop Tennis IQ.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Half Day.  Each camp is 9am-12:30pm or 1-4:30pm.  Cost: $380. $76/day for 5 days.  (4-day camp June 29-July 2 costs $304.)  Discounts: $100  discount for signing up for two camps. $75 sibling discount.  $25 discount if a friend also signs up for camp.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMPS FOR ADVANCED AND COMPETITIVE PLAYERS INCLUDING TOURNAMENT AND HIGH SCHOOL VARISTY AND JR VARSITY PLAYERS: My high performance camps operate on a very different model than larger scale camps, and are for competitive junior players who are serious about wanting to improve as players and competitors.  Coach Alexander is the only coach for one select group of players at a time.  These specialty camps are designed to improve not only players’ technical and shot-making skills but also to develop their tennis IQ and make them stronger competitors who win more matches.  These physically and mentally rigorous camps have a different focus, agenda and price than our age group camps.  Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1-5pm.  Cost: $600 ($30/hr). $100 discount for two camps.

This spring and summer we also have:  our Saturday afternoon age group drop-in classes at Cerrito Vista for newer and beginner players.
